DUNMORE, PA - The Penn State Scranton Lady Lions were victorious in their home opener today in a PSUAC match-up against Penn State York. The ladies went 3-2 in 5 sets with York, eventually sealing the victory 15-9 in the deciding set.
Sophomore Inaya Floyd had 14 kills and 11 digs, Sophomore Jess Berger added 7 kills and 9 digs and freshman Shannon Czekaj had 39 digs in the victory.
This is the second win for new head coach Eric McLain, who led his team to an on the road victory against Penn State Lehigh Valley earlier this week.
Tomorrow the Lady Lions meet Penn State Brandywine at home at 2 PM.
