Penn State Scranton Names Justin Cardamone Head Men’s Soccer Coach

Penn State Scranton has named Justin Cardamone as its new head men’s soccer coach.

“We are excited to have Justin back at Penn State Scranton and look forward to the leadership he will provide to our men’s soccer program,” said Enrico Mastroianni, Director of Athletics and Recreation.

Cardamone returns to Penn State Scranton, where he previously served as an assistant coach, bringing coaching experience from the NCAA Division III and NJCAA Division I ranks. His career has included coaching roles at Marywood University, Keystone College, and Lackawanna College, along with experience at the New York Red Bulls Regional Development School. In addition to his collegiate work, Cardamone has remained actively involved in club soccer and has served as a head coach with the Northeastern Pennsylvania EPYSA Olympic Development Program (ODP).

On taking the reins of the program, Coach Cardamone said, “I’m honored and grateful for the opportunity to return to Penn State Scranton as the head men’s soccer coach. This program is where my collegiate coaching journey began, so coming back in this role is especially meaningful. I’m excited to build on the momentum that’s already here, continue moving the program forward, and help our student-athletes succeed both on and off the field. I can’t wait to get to work
