This season the Penn State Scranton Women's Volleyball team has made leaps and bounds under their new coaching staff. The Lady Lions took to the court to face off against the visitors from Penn State Wilkes Barre to try to improve their record as they seek their first play-off berth. Scranton started out strong as Sophomore Setter, Mollie Fenwick had 13 straight aces as it didn't look like Wilkes Barre had an answer. The ladies would go on to take the first game in dominating fashion with the final of 25-7. The second game would start off different as Wilkes Barre gave up a fight exchanging points back and forth but would fall short again as Scranton took game two 25-20. The Lady Lions from Scranton would take control of the third and final game of the match as they won 25-14. Senior Middle Hitter, Jen Smith had 5 kills throughout the match. Mollie Fenwick finished the match with 2 assists and one dig to add to her aces. Sophomore Defensive Specialist, Giselle Galeana finished the match with 8 digs and Junior Outside Hitter, Danielle Segilia finished with 1 kill and 3 aces for Scranton.
