The PSWS Men's Soccer team started off their season with a game against non-conference Davis College from Johnson City, NY. The team started out very strong with a swift attack to score their first goal of the year 00:28 seconds into the game by midfielder Brad Bisignani who was assisted by defender Akhmet Ashimov. Scranton did not stop after that, they kept firing on all cylinders with another goal in the 6th minute scored by forward/midfielder Nick Milenkovski, assisted by midfielder Brad Bisignani. In the first half Scranton would capitalize 5 more times with goals by forward/midfielder Justin Kurek (13th min), midfielder Mike Quinn (17th min), defender Akhmet Ashimov (33rd min), another goal by Brad Bisignani (35th min), and Nick Milenkovski (42nd min). Davis College fought back with a goal of their own in the 23rd minute. The team went into half time with a commanding 7-1 lead.

The second half was a lot like the first for Scranton who just kept adding to their lead over the visiting team from New York. By the end of the game Scranton would add another 5 goals to their total to win the game in dominant fashion. The second half goals were provided by Brad Bisignani (70th, 82nd min), Justin Kurek (78th min), and Scott Steblinski (81st, 83rd min). It was a great way to start the season off and we look forward to seeing great performances all year long.
